One thing for sure - it is EXTREMELY difficult to take up iron nails once I've heated and cooled them. They are just "A bit" too small
And always tend to fall through the forge, btw

Try throwing them on the anvil that is automatically created over the forge.

Forge is made out of default s2 items.
Anyway, I'm working on using Ominus' mine pieces to make a new, better mine level. I would recommend you *NOT* build a mine, unless you don't care about what your mine looks like.
oil form animal fat
and make buckets out of branches and the bucket you can use on the sandy ground and make sand and create glass then also add gears and
with steel plates nails oil and gears you can make mechanics
so
lamp frame+ glass+oil=lamp
animal fat + bottle = oil
branches + nails =bucket
bucket + e(use) on ground = sand
sand + fire = glass
glass + _____= what ever glass
steel plates+ oil+glass+gears+nails+ whatever = some mechanic thing
ps builder my power went out earlier that's y i could not help find bugs the replace transformers
Is it the rock numbered 63 in the editor?
If you could help me with this it would make it a lot easier.

I cant seem to figure out how to make a water rock, Ive hit the rock that is the same size as the water rock with my hammer plenty more than 30 times and nothing has happened.

My bad, it's 50 hits, not 30. In other news, working on the new mine level. It's really cool. There are these little tablets you uncover as you mine deeper that you can build things on. Some are merely aesthetic (like pillars), others help with seeing (eternally lit torches), others are useful for storage (crate & barrel), and one of them is a unique structure called the lava forge.
You need to have a forging skill of 125 to make it. Basically, it's a forge that doesn't use fuel and can be turned on\off instantly. It also looks awesome.
So far ive been handed my ass on a silver plater, maybe i should step down to medium.
I love the update.
Edit: nvm, i seem to have overcome those pesky lions with my slingshot. Anyways you blanced the difficulty very well, its not imposibly hard, but not to easy either.
It is very realistic.

That reminds me. The slingshot escaped my changes because I never realized how strong it was. I fixed it earlier tonight, it'll be with the batch of hot fixes (along with the new mine level, fixed randomhardislandgen script, fixed large meat) coming tomorrow.
Anyway, a lot of people have been complaining that after a certain amount of time the game is really easy and dissolves into basically just seeing how big you can build your fort. I have a solution for that. First, however, a look into what I hope to accomplish within the next few days or so:
Builder's TODO List has written
-Water distillation using modified campfire fuel script & "tiki tower" model
-Fix torches lasting forever, even in rain.
-Fix expendable water sources can fill an infinite number of bottles.
-Fix coffee not requiring fire
-Fix bamboo planting
-Add bamboo as a fire fuel
-On:hit, give random chance for containers to break
-make lions less aggressive but more dangerous
-increase dps for bleeding on medium\hard
-give spears DoT
-allow player to 'take down' grill using hammer
-up arrow damage
-on easy, start player with lighter (variable uses) & pack of matches
-influence fire making chance through survivor skill
-spawn more logs at shore on changeday
-foraging skill
-Buildable Crate in House (between table and bed)
-Buildable Crate in Hut
-Tie 'tool breakage' into difficulty
-Make tools give back "handle" or "head" when they break.
-Make sharks\raptors breed
-Alchohol brewing for wine\wheat beer
-Hidden springs, randomly found while digging (like coal deposits), can be hooked up to a structure for a limited supply of water
-animals make raids into your camp
**attracted by meat\food at night
**animals should steal food
**fire keeps them away
-Climbing Skill
**Lets you climb bigger trees, less branches, ect

After that I'll be working on the end game for random islands: 'The Journey Home'
Basically, in order to give a visible & reachable end point to any random island game after day 20 a quest appears: Build a ship to take yourself home. Building the ship will require tons of planks, metal, nails; high woodcutting, mining, and forging skills. Along with lots of time spent gathering and refining the resources.
Preparing for the journey will take all your other skills; cooking to make journey rations and rum, pottery to make vessels to hold food and water, hunting & fishing to gather meat\fish to salt, planting to make bread and grow the ingredients for rum.
At the end of the journey the list of events will be compiled into a list and saved as a text file, along with a calculated score, list of achievements, and list of stats.
i run the game and then i observre that theres no menu sound
and then i see that when i click on options it works the first time but when i click on cancel and then again on options it dissappears
and also note that the options menu sinks down when i click on cancel
EDIT:I got it
it was a resolution problem in options
but the grill or the forge doesnt work
i have to put the stuff on side ways to cook or forge it
and it sucks to do that
think of a fix quick
