I just had it (have no idea how I got it o.O), very hard to remove, will totaly disable your computer it says you must pay to remove viruses, but it's fake.
It will start off with a fake scanner, saying you will have 38 infections, then come up with "click here to activate it" and then you must pay.
I have absolutely no idea how I got this, and it turns out a lot have people have had it.
But you can't go on anything, if it happens just go on another computer (youtube) how to remove it.

I just made this thread because I don't want you guys to get it

What anti-virus software do you have? I have NOD32, and it saves me from all of these shit. Do NOT use FREE anti-virus softwares, because they aren't really good.

This happened to my Windows Defender, about 1-2 months ago. It started went crazy and downloaded trojans and adware from the net, during the time I had plenty of BSOD's(Blue Screens of Death) thereafter I had hacker attacks on my router (from China, Germany, Kazakstan, etc [proxies probably]) and other weird stuff happening, so I decided to download AVG anti-virus program. I deep scanned the whole PC for trojans and thereafter removing all kinds of malware, there was quite many... got rid of all. Now I'm protected again thanks to AVG and disabling any default anti-virus and firewalls.

Viruses, you just never know when you may have it. They sometimes come even with legal software, true story.

I recommend not to download untrusted software on the net as they cause harm to your PC. I personally recommend AVG, it will definitely fix your PC.

Really, nothing beats free Threat Fire. I've been using it for a two years and have never caught a virus.

Best bet it to not download free anti-virus tools, they aren't very good.

Because they are free
They don't want to spend a lot of time on stuff that will be free in the end.

Makes me wonder how some of you manage to get these viruses at times.

On my old Windows XP laptop I managed to get 2 trojans out of the 2 to 3 years that I had it for.

I currently use AVG which works fine on my end.

It's no joke either.

Viruses can come in through open ports and through hacker attacks... so it makes sense.
I got open ports due to games, so... happy face.
I am not scared if I get viruses, that's why I get them haha.

I try to make my PC safe, but apparently it's really impossible in the Windows environment neither am I scared to use the Windows environment. Even my friend would pick Windows over Linux, haha.
