Stranded II Mods TheSurvivalist:Christmas Update 12-24-19I mean we should not lower the value in Hardmode, except if it make the mode harder

Nice idea for the Stick BassDrop...
As of late I have been taking a bit of a break that seems to have extended it's self a little longer then planned. Here is an idea of my upcoming work I have planned.
1) Just continue playing this version for about another month and I will post an update fixing any of the above recently found bugs.
Included in this next update will also be some "core" fixes that have to do with compatibility issues when clicking TheSurvivalist.exe to start the mod. Should cover some issues with players who run on windows7/vista operating systems while making the game run "smoother" for the most part for everybody.
Lastly, it would have my lost fixes from my "to-do" list on the top of page one included...new food model(corn) and combos, and fixes. The lost data from my hardrive crash.
2) After posting that update, I will be working on 2-3 "end-game" senarios.
a) You hear a tugboat bellowing it's horn in the distance and you will have to perform a signaling fire/task where you have a "slight" chance of being rescued.
b) Your hear a plane in flying overhead where you also would have to perform a similar task to signal the plane, as you would the tugboat. Also giving you a slight chance of being rescued.
c) You will, at some point in a game, be able to trade with the Trade Pirate for a cell phone. Once a power-source is acquired you would be able to make a call for rescue to be rescued.
note: Any of the 3 scenarios would end your game. Alternatively players who do not wish to strive towards rescue would simply not perform the signal fire or make a cellphone call. The game will keep the element that your game will continue endlessly unless you die, for those you like that aspect. (like me)
3) After 1 & 2 are complete I will monitor the thread for bugs and fixes where I would likely call the mod "completed" at some point when I feel it is bug-free.

So the next update will be about another month. Thank you all for your feedback and I hope you find the mod "fun" and at the same time, challenging. Please continue posting bugs or ideas and enjoy the game and I will be in and out here and report anything significant I come across.

I've been gone for a few months, and i'm pretty proud of myself for being able to write even a small script..
I don't feel/want to make a entire mod about a stick. The effects of stranded II as far as I know can't be modded so we can be mages and all that fun stuff.
That's why it's relatively cheap.

I am sure u r busy and maybe there are not material improvements, but anyways you should release a new version approx. 1 per month, even if with only light improvement

1. Re the stick whatever, to be honest I do not like the idea, on principle, is witchcraft cmmm, it DOES NOT improve a survival game. Maybe we could polish the idea/tech to something more realistic? I double dare you!
2. Re the starting scenario, I agree 101%, except that our coders do not get paid (yet). I think this would be great if we had extra labor to spend (but so far, is only JJ that I know). JJ should focus on: 1st. Fixing bugs/adding in-game Tips; 2nd. Graphics/Sounds; 3rd. End-game scenarios. But really, getting us at least one end scenario, ideally 2 or 3, should be the main goal atm.
3. Again, ideally you all coders-wanna-be should coordinate with JJ, I am sure each of you have something unique to contribute. U will learn more about coding and the game will get better IF you work together.

I agree, I simply re-code the game to make it easier for my friend who said this is too hard. But I'll try to get into it a little deeper.

The stick was a item that you could ONLY get from the debug menu. I just made it possible to make legitimately.
While your work may be great, I do not think it is the right idea for the game. However, I think this could be tweaked into something more realistic. How? I am not sure, but I am sure it can be. Maybe you can think of something? I am thinking if "water" is at issue, then we should try to come up with one more realistic way of getting water: Rain catch, Solar still, Water purification. I AM ALWAYS IN FAVOR of making the game harder. We should make water harder/more creative/realistic to get in hard mode. Maybe the stick should be the way to drill AFTER you prospect for water. Heh, I don't know. But my point is that I recognize the great work you have done and I hope you keep it coming.

For chocolate you would crush cacaofruit to produce cocaobeans, then roast the cacaobeans, and crush them to make cacao powder. With this you can either melt it and harden it into a dark chocolate bar or melt it and mix with sugar and milk to make a milk chocolate bar.
For coffee I just made it so that you need to roast the coffee beans, grind them and finally mix with water and paper (filter) over fire to make coffee.
I was wondering if you could add this to your mod because i find the current method unsuitable (cacaofruit directly to cacao powder?? and no use of milk with the chocolate). I can send anyone the files, with icons and everything, but you have to edit the ids

Anyways, in my humble opinion SIIMMTS is the best iteration of Stranded that I have played. You did a GREAT job, thank you very much!
NOW, the question is: who will take over SIIMMTS after you (+ Builder & DC)!
