So my pc broke, and I wanted to try on my laptop stranded 2. First I had some crashes about a Invalid Map. Later I tried single map (color game). Worked perfect but when I went to menu... OMG IT GLITCHED AS HELL! Models and ground was glitching everywhere, later I get blue screen. OMFG help me I have no idea wtf is going on! P.S.: I used tech that I used on my broken pc (monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse). Any help? I have 0% clue what is going on.

EDIT: I will try to check if my laptop have graphics up to date and if there isnt anything missing and try it without my pc's hardware.

EDIT 2: Tried without pc's hardware, worked but again got blue screen. I will try to not be in menu for long time.

Secondly: your video card can be integrated to motherboard, so maybe it can't run Stranded II properly.
Thirdly: check are you monitor resolution is high color 32 bit, not 16.

Edit: what is your video card?

Lemme write you list of status I had in game (up was first one):
-Worked fine
-Destroyed second crate with meat and bones
-Meat not having front texture and glitching everything around (like in menu)
-Picked up meat
-Game froze for ten seconds
-Glitch gone
-Glitch went back in five seconds
-Infinite empty logs in diary when going to scripted place which could give you log into diary
-Game going to solairate mode (Everything didnt move only hud did and it emmited infinite trail behind on compass (leaving compass marks behind)
-Game later crashed

Edit: I almost forgot, texture were swapping on the corrupted stuff, so leaves on tree went to leaf item texture, then to white grass texture and etc.

@user BountyHunter: I do not know my dad's laptop graphics, but stranded worked fine before.
My graph. color is 32 bit.
Maybe its something about my resolution. Because I had some kind of warning window about my resolution and it would cause some kind of "fuzzy texture" stuff when stranded crashed

Edit 2: Wait the fuzzy thing was about my default screen resolution. Maybe I will try to change my in-game resolution. And even try to make it lowest graphics ever.

The only other thing is that your graphic card drivers IS too old. Try to find a new drivers in the internet.

I didn't even made it there. I got another blue screen. Maybe it is because my dad dont want to have windows updates on.

Edit: He gotta be f*cking kidding me. HE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE ANTI-VIRUS!? WTF! Well I think its virus probably.

Edit 2: Well installed avast and now I am waiting for scan to finish.

Not sure it's the same problem, but I had blue screen with integrated Intel cards. It's some problem with the driver and Windows. My solution was to use Ubuntu (Linux) and play Stranded II through Wine. Try upgrading your drivers and lower graphics settings in Stranded.

No it wasn't. I used lowest graphics ever... worked fine. No blue screen, no texture glitching, no other glitches.

old laptop is fine

after a while of tinkering today i have found out that running in compatibility mode AND windowed AND running as an admin AND in 1024x728 (or whichever it was) is how to get the game to work right. i was getting the BSOD. all the hardware was checking out fine after each one, so i wasn't too worried about my computer.

i used to play with integrated graphics card and it's able to run Stranded 2 and it was only an Intel shit (64mb).. There are also many good inegrated cards, too (of course the desktops are better, but you can play with integrated card, too)
Btw if your card is too old i dont think you find any drivers for it.
and lol i dont use antivirus app and i havent got any virus, you just should be careful and you will never got any
