Games nowadays are really bad; it's not fun anymore. I don't enjoy playing modern games nowadays, and it's because of tons of reasons, like:
1 - Most of the games need to be purchased.
2 - Remastering the game more than 100 times until your PC catches on fire.
3 - Making updates just for money; the biggest example: Trash Royale.
4 - Too many buttons on the screen, and it takes 3 hours until you find the start button.
5 - The games are very complicated.
6 - Waste 6 years of your life just to unlock 350 skins out of 4000
7 - Too many hackers.
8 - Horror games do not scare you as they used to before. Example: FNAF (Old One), Resident Evil (New One). Before, you used to get jump scared, now you just move around while someone is chasing you in the middle of somewhere with a horror music playing in the background.
9 - Pay to Win, I don't think I want to talk about this.
10 - *Buy a new PC to try this game*, once you try it, it turns out to be trash.
- And many more reasons I didn't mention.
Nowadays, the only way to save your game from dying is to just NOT update it anymore, make the last big update, and then leave the game on its own forever, or just make updates fixing bugs. Lots of games started as a good game, and some players was like: 'There is no way this game will die,' until it got famous. Even more famous. More famous means more crazy updates. More crazy updates mean more money. More money leads to destroying the game and selling it to other game companies. Example: Mope io, Agar io...
Tell me what do you guys think. Is it just me, or is everyone getting this feeling?
