I don't know why but a lot of the time when I click on a link going from one part of the forum to another, everything suddenly turns German when I normally use English. The cookies are all enabled and stuff, so I'm not sure whats going on... Suggestion? Thanks.

Yeah, it happens when I search or when I click on a link.

I don't use proxies or VPNs.

I said, very first post, browser accepts cookies.

I use Mozilla Firefox 3.6 (I'd upgrade to 4.0 but some of the addons I use arent ready yet).

Yeah I'm using FF beta, and it's fine. Stop that dreamcatcher Opera has many security flaws.

Oh look who's speaking from a trash can again! Is it that guy who does not know anything about programming? Yea, that's him! So, firstly, scout, tell me about Opera security breaches. Name me at least one. I'd rather be using IE than FF, because FF itself looks like a plugin to IE. Gecko is shit by default, man, just know that. It's damn old and slow. Presto it's the only way to browse the net safely.

Try clicking the flag icons twice.

What are you talking about? Why two times? Why not three, four, maybe five? Oh, I forgot, you just tell random advices to people so they will think that you're clever. Sorry, professor. Well, I wanna tell you one thing about this button, you just need to press it one time. As web-site itself uses PHP, there is no need in clicking two times. Otherwise you will get back to the language you used before.

Get a better mouse or get glasses.
Your aiming must suck if you're really trying NOT to click on the german flag.

I'm almost sure a decent browser (as FF3.6) won't have such stupid bugs as visiting links randomly or shit...
But you really should update your Firefox anyways.
I mean, we are already at version 5.0, bro.

I don't think this is a problem of the browser itself.
I use Firefox 5.0 and this never happened to me (even when I used 3.6 and all the 4.0 betas).
Maybe it's an addon/plugin that is causing that?

I agree, stop talking out off your ass Textual Context.
You don't have knowledge of anything, and try to look 'expert' on everything. Opera is one of the safest browsers out there. Many keyloggers are targeted towards Firefox, because it doesn't save the passwords encrypted ( at least that's how it was in 3.6 ).

And for me, I never had the problem that the site shows up in german. Maybe it defaults to german language when you're from germany?

not another browser war!

I'm outa here.

EDIT: I just checked the cookies and I noticed the language one looked weird. So I deleted it and it works now. Might've been corrupted or something.

Yeah my mistake 'once', however removing them does sound like a better idea now.

PHP & the web are considered scripting, not programming. And as for opera it does have security flaws. You are able to download a file without confirmation--meaning websites can initialize a download without your knowledge.
