Hello, guys. Here is my problem:
In the last 2 weeks everytime I play CS2D got 50 FPS ( )
When someone throw a gas grenade it comes to 30 FPS (ok, normal)

But recently, when I got killed (a few ms before) it drops to 15-17 FPS suddenly, so, I can't avoid the attack, just takes my by surprise, but normalizes a second later, so I can spectate like a boss...

My "amazing" computer hardware;
312RAM -- Pentium III@850mhz -- Geforce Mx/MX 400(64mb) -- Windows XP SP3

I always play at fullscreen.

I've some problems lately, like the nv4_disp.dll blue screen (video card driver) so probably I'll format it and reinstall windows. Do you think that it could be actually another problem?

Sorry by my sh**** english

What the...?
Really amazing PC!

Who the hell has this old hardware?

Ontopic:
• Decrease your gore (blood) to get more FPS!

You know that your PC is very old? May you install a OS that don't need to so much RAM (Windows XP needs 128MB!)

It's at minimum already... And yeah, is a pretty amazing PC to play 2D games and use MSWord

Than you need a better PC.

Check the systemrequirments for CS2D:
www.cs2d.com has written
Requirements
Recommended system requirements for the CS2D client are:

256 mb 3D video card with DirectX 7+ OR OpenGL support
1 ghz CPU and 1 gb RAM (2 gb RAM recommended for Vista/7)
30 mb free disk space (more recommended for downloads!)
Windows Win 2000, XP, Vista, 7 OR Linux Linux OR Mac MacOS 10.3.9+

Your RAM and your graphic card is to old

But I have already a 2gb RAM and Intel I3 PC (Not remember graphic card)

The other computer is just used as a "office" or emergency back up computer. It works pretty good a couple of months ago with the game, but not now. So I just wanted to find the possible problem...

must be caused by recent system changes if it worked before. like a new video card driver or new settings or new programs that are running in the background or changed something during setup.

Got a winner!

I didn't even considered that til you said it. I used the "CCleaner" to erase some problems from windows register. I'll find the back up file

Solved

I think you should upgrade your processor.
Because i could play CS2D on these specs:
1300GHz Pentium 3
256mb sdram
32mb graphics card.
with 59-30 fps.

I would reccomend you getting a pentium 4. And more ram would be good.

Because ram is very cheap.

But if you dont have the money (Like in my case)
You can still keep the things. But ram is cheap and will make the computer faster.512 mb ram would be good. But you could also get 1 GB.
